STREX Journal

New site, new chapter.

I have wanted to create this for years. Not just a website that sells a few things, but a proper home for the experience, knowledge, and systems I have been carrying around.

This version of STREX feels like the start of something I have been trying to build in pieces for a long time.

For years, the work has been spread everywhere: drone shoots, edits, captions, hotel collaborations, Bali location notes, Lightroom grades, creator systems, half-written ideas, and the quiet lessons that only come from doing something again and again until you understand it properly.

I have always known there was more here than a social profile. Instagram and TikTok are useful, but they are not a home. They are a feed. Things move quickly, then disappear. I wanted somewhere slower and more useful — a place where the work can stack up, connect, and still be valuable later.

STREX is becoming the place where I turn field experience into useful tools, notes, and products for other creators.

Why now?

Because I finally feel clear on what STREX is.

It is Bali from above, but it is not only drone footage. It is the colour palette I have built from years of shooting in tropical light. It is the practical judgement that comes from turning up early, checking weather, watching the crowds, finding the angle, and knowing when a location is worth the effort.

It is also the creator workflow behind the visible work: how to turn one shoot into a month of content, how to pitch a property properly, how to build search traffic instead of relying on every post to perform in the first 48 hours.

What this site is for

The new site gives all of that a proper structure.

The presets are here because colour is a big part of the STREX look. Moody Greens and Paradise Blues came from real files, real water, real jungle, real Bali light. They are not generic settings with tropical names added later.

The Creator Tools are here because I know how much good work dies after the shoot. The capture is only one part of the job. Publishing, pitching, writing, planning, and packaging the work are what make the effort compound.

And this blog is here because I have a lot of experience and knowledge to share. Some of it is creative. Some of it is technical. Some of it is practical. Some of it is simply the kind of honest context I wish more people shared before they sold you the polished version.

What I want to publish here

I want this to become a field notebook for creators who care about taste, travel, storytelling, and useful systems.

That means posts about Bali light, drone movement, editing decisions, location judgement, content strategy, AI workflows, hotel collaborations, gear, mistakes, and the business side of being a creator without turning everything into generic internet advice.

No fluff. No fake urgency. No pretending every lesson is a breakthrough. Just useful notes from someone who has spent a long time shooting, editing, testing, and figuring things out in the field.

The beginning

This is the first post because it marks the point where STREX becomes more than a collection of links and products. It becomes a place I can build on.

I know there is a lot still to add. That is the point. The site can grow with the work now. The blog gives me somewhere to put the knowledge. The products give people something practical to use. The brand finally has a proper home.

It has taken years to get here, but that also means I am not starting from zero. I am starting with experience.
